The Avon Lake Boat Club is open to Avon Lake residents interested in boating, kayaking and small boat sailing. There are 120 racks for 14 foot class boats, 24 kayak racks, and three racks for small sail boats. Boats are launched via a unique trolley system. Annual Perch and Walleye derbies are held every summer. Boat size is limited to the 14 foot class with a beam not to exceed 72 inches. There is a waiting list for this club. Club meetings are held on the fourth Thursday each month, January through May, and during the month of October.
