Interested in joining the Avon Lake Boat Club?
We currently have spaces for motor boat and kayaks with no waiting list. If interested please contact us soon.
The ALBC is a Boat Club, managed by volunteer members; it is not a for profit marina, it is not a public service. We rent the property from the City and manage through rules and bylaws, and we expect all members to understand and abide by them. Please keep this in consideration as you make your decision to join the Club.
We currently have motor boat and kayak spaces available. If we should fill all available spaces, you can join as a Social member to establish your start date with the Club. Your $100 annual Social membership entitles you to participate in all Club activities including fishing derbies, clam bakes, etc., and gives the you an opportunity to meet and develop relationships with existing members. When a space becomes available, based on seniority of membership date, Social members can choose to become a Regular member. The Social membership fee of $100 for that year will then be applied as the one time (non-refundable) initiation fee to full membership.
Dues are $250 annually ($200 for retirees over 60 and fully retired). Rack spaces are for one one boat/kayak/paddle board per rack per member.
If you are interested in membership please read our rules and bylaws posted below on our website to understand your agreements and obligations regarding membership and then send an email to joeslife@avonlakeboatclub.com. Joe will contact you for additional information and instructions for sending your payment.
